Chapter 3

Finally Eddie wakes up and sees himself in what appears to be Ruby Pier from his childhood. He feels no pain and is amazed that he doesn't need his cane anymore. He runs around happy of his new body that feels 75 years younger. He sees a blue image that appears to look like a man. He meet his First person... The Blue man. Eddie cannot speak he is mute, because he has to listen.

The blue Man kept talking to Eddie and explaining his life and how he turned blue.

Blue man was a poor immigrant and a very nervous child. In order to stop wedding the bed and stop being nervous parents went to a chemist and he advise The Blue Man's parents to give him Silver Nitrate. Later known that it was poisonous. Since he was still nervous he kept drinking this every night, making his skin turn blue.

Then explained how he got to Ruby Pier the only place where he could be himself. He later explain how he was killed. He was killed while driving his friend's car and in order to avoid hitting a child that lost him baseball, crashed and a truck crashed against him. The little boy was Eddie.

The Blue Man then tells Eddie's First Lesson that all life is connected.

Chapter Ends with Eddie's 8th Birthday. He was getting for a funeral....The Blue Mans'.



The Organizational Pattern in this Chapter was Cause and Effect. Based on what happened when Eddie lost the ball......The Blue Man crashed and died.
